In the 1970s, the painter Salvatore Fiume, romantically defined Favignana as a butterfly lying on the sea because it is formed by the two flat areas of the wood and the plane, separated by a large mountainous limestone body: Santa Caterina.
The island of Favignana is the largest of the Egadi islands. The landscape is characterized by the clear sea with a splendid sea bed, by white sandy beaches, and by a rugged coastline, rich in inlets. It is in this context, within the Lido Burrone residence, that the "Le Casuzze" apartments are located, on the most beautiful and fascinating area of the island of Favignana.
We are located just steps from the most beautiful white, sandy beach on the island: Lido Burrone that is just across the road; and the centre of all that is beautiful to see: Cala Azzurra ( blue cove), Cala Rossa (red cave), Grotta Perciata, the "Bue Marino".
All you need is a bicycle to visit the whole island and in front of the residence and the apartments there is a bus stop to reach the village of Favignana, or any other destination you want.
The "Le Casuzze" apartments enjoy all the same mod cons: fully equipped kitchen, independent air conditioning, TV, bathroom with shower and washing machine, a terrace for exclusive use with table and chairs to experience fully the fragrances, the colors and the flavours of our island and the chance to take advantage of the residence's swimming pool.
